Introduction

HDS-1 and HDS-2 are high-efficiency water reducers, classified as inorganic and organic types respectively, serving as alternatives to traditional sodium tripolyphosphate and sodium hexametaphosphate. They are suitable for refractory castables with systems containing silica fume and matrices such as corundum, high-alumina bauxite fine powder, or fused magnesia. Applications include low-cement and ultra-low-cement castables, corundum-based self-flowing castables, and high-grade iron runner castables.

HDS-1 offers the advantages of high water reduction rate, low dosage, prolonged flow retention, no bleeding, and excellent high-temperature performance. It is particularly well-suited for self-flowing castables.
